Susan is a New York City and East Hampton based artist.
“l paint because words are inadequate to express my feelings”.
Her work is always inspired by nature. She paints in oil and is often focused on water, sky and her fascination with fog. Susan spends much of her time outdoors and her paintings evolve from her observations. She paints from her heart.
Susan began her studies at the Salmagundi Club. As her work evolved more towards abstraction she now studies and is a member of the Art Students League in New York. When home in East Hampton she works at the Art Barge or her home studio.
Susan has received awards both at the Salmagundi Club and The Art Student’s League.
