I am an artist based in East Hampton, New York, with deep roots in this artistic community. Having lived in the area since my early childhood and later raised my two children in Sag Harbor who still reside in the area, my connection to the region runs deep. In 2022, after over two decades of nurturing young talents as an art teacher at the Amagansett School, I embarked on a new chapter in my artistic journey.

My educational background is reflective of my lifelong commitment to both art and education. I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Art Education at LIU Southampton Campus, where I also honed my skills in painting, ceramics, and printmaking. Later, I earned a master’s degree in education with a concentration in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University. Alongside my teaching career, I pursued further studies in graphic design and interior design, expanding on my artistic palette.

My artistic expression is primarily through abstract acrylic paintings, complemented by art prints and digital paintings. Influenced by the breathtaking natural landscapes of the East End of Long Island, my work often features organic shapes, gestural lines, and layered textures. Color, a powerful conduit for memory and emotion, is central to my artistic process. Recently, I’ve been integrating my passion for design and pattern into my artwork, further expanding the style and process of my art.

Continually inspired by my surroundings, my art serves as a testament to the profound interplay between nature, emotion, and creativity.
