Bernice Faegenburg

neicy@optonline.netHaving studied with several Asian teachers, Bernice Faegenburg produces work that is a combination of Eastern and Western influences.

Her most familiar paintings take the shape of  a fan and are done as large triptychs.  The images within might include Japanese brush painting, collage, silk-screen printing or other media. Ms. Faegenburg is always studying new techniques and learning more ways to express herself visually.

Ms. Faegenburg received a Masters Degree in Art from C.W. Post College in Brookville, New York and did her undergraduate work at Tyler School of Art, the art school of Temple University in Philadelphia.

A past president of the National Association of Women Artists, she has exhibited in Japan, Greece and India as well as many venues in the U.S. Her paintings are included in private, corporate and museum collections.
